On the way to Monkey Mia, we stopped at Shell Beach. I didn't really know what to expect at this stop but I hoped it would be a little more exciting than the stromatolites. I mean, all beaches have shells.. what could be so great about these?
I definitely underestimated this beach.
I still think this was one of my favourite stops of the trip and probably the prettiest beach I have ever been to.

The entire beach is made up of these tiny tiny pure white shells. No sand or rocks, only shells. It was absolutely amazing. I had never seen anything like it before.

If the shells weren't amazing enough.. Look at this water! Have you ever seen water so crystal clear? You could see everything, unlike the beaches at home. This is a picture of the shore from where we were standing in the water.

The water wasn't only clear.. It was only about a foot deep for kilometres. It felt like we were walking in the middle of the ocean. The water never got any deeper.

We knew it was time to head back when we ran into this guy. I have heard so many warnings about the jelly fish here in Au that I wasn't about to risk getting stung. After looking at it for a minute Nic and I decided we should probably head back to shore.
