These are my second favourite pictures from the trip. On the third day we decided to go to the second most popular beach in Broome, Town Beach. To be honest, I don't understand why Town Beach isn't as or more popular as Cable Beach. Although Cable Beach has pure white sand and is also very beautiful, Town Beach has RED RED sand! I have never seen anything like it. There is something about the colour of the water against the red sand that just takes my breath away. Town beach is a much smaller beach with fewer people, which is also a plus. The water is again, around 27 degrees and the waves were very small. One could wade in the water all day long and not get splashed once. We spent the entire day at Town Beach... The first half we just stayed at the main part of the beach and hung out in the water, etc. The rest of the time we walked along the rest of the beach and took a million pictures. It was a lot of fun!
And what made the day even better... We rented scooters for the day. For only $35 we could rent scooters at the hostel for 24 hours. This was great because it ends up being a lot cheaper than taxi's and its also much more convenient than having to wait for the bus (which stops running at 6pm). We rented scooters 2 of the 5 days, which ended up being the best way to see Broome!

I love these next 2 pictures! We had a lot of fun rubbing the red dirt on us like war paint! I think it made for some really great pictures.
I look like Harry Potter (: Wolfgang spent the entire rest of the day orange! I told him he looked like an Oompa Loompa (: Of course he had no idea what I was talking about! He thought it just made him look tan.
Really cool tree in the water.. Later in the day the tide is really low so this tree is out of the water but I thought it look so neat with the high tide..
