Since I am already back in Perth, I am going to quickly finish up semester 2 so I won't be behind any longer.
After the pearl farm tour, Wolfgang and I went to a restaurant/bar for their Sunday crab races. We didn't really know what we were getting ourselves into but we didn't have anything better to do. Basically, you can buy a raffle for $1 and then you get a number. If your number is drawn, you then can pick a crab to race for a cash prize. Wolfgang and I bought raffles each race.

Before each race, if your number is drawn you have to kiss your crab for good luck. Don't I look thrilled?

Wolf.

Wolfgang's crab won! I think he ended up winning $60.. not bad. I ended up winning $70 that night (just a little bit more, so a little bit better). What are the odds that both he and I would win money that night? Obviously pretty good (:

I know my parents aren't thrilled about this picture but the next day Wolfgang and I went to Gantheaum Point and met up with some locals. They were jumping from the rocks so we decided to join. This was one of the craziest things I have ever done and I only jumped once. Once was enough for me. Wolfgang tried to tell me that he didn't get the picture and I thought I was going to kill him when he said that..

Wolf and I in the natural pools of Gantheaum Point.

Each night at Gantheaum Point, when the tide is low enough you can see dinosaur footprints..

We were lucky enough to travel to Broome during Staircase to the Moon. This is a natural phenomenon that only occurs 3-4 times a year. It only occurs on during a full moon and when the tide is all the way out. When the moon rises, there is about a 10 minute period where the reflection looks like a staircase, hence the name. It was a pretty amazing sight. This was was the icing on the cake to our trip.

Thanks Wolfgang for an amazing trip.. It was definitely one of the highlights to Semester 1.
