I finally created a blog so my family and friends can follow me while I am studying abroad in Australia.

Just a few differences
Yield signs in Australia.
Instead of saying "where's the restroom" or "bathroom" people here say "toilet". In my opinion, this is a much cruder way to say restroom but even the signs say "toilet". It's hard not to say bathroom but people still know what I mean. Most exit signs here look like somebody is sprinting out of the building... In case of a fire, I guess this is how I'm suppose to look..
So is that disabled toilet out of order? or does it act more like a bidet? What is that nature of the toilet's disability? And that isn't an exit sign... that is the other kind of bathroom or "toilet" the, "I think I ate too much Vegemite!" toilet in case of emergencies.
I am currently a junior at the University of Redlands. From July until November I will be studying abroad in Australia. I have never been away from home for longer than 2 weeks, so it will definitely be an adventure. I am majoring in business with a minor in religious studies. Once I get my bachelors, I plan on going to PA school to become a physicians assistant.
